An Australian delegating led by Australian Foreign Secretary Ms. Frances Adamson met Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Mr. Kapila Waidyaratne PC on Saturday (02nd September) at the Ministry.A cordial discussion on matters of bilateral importance was held between both sides during the meeting.
The Australian delegation included the High Commissioner of Australian in Sri Lanka HE Mr Bryce Hutchesson and embassy officials including Defence Attaché, Captain Jason Sears.
Additional Secretary (Defence) Mr. RMS Sarath Kumara, Chief of National Intelligence Mr. Sisira Mendis and Military Liaison Officer Major General DAR Ranawaka were also present at the occasion.
